On Friday, 15 May 2026, Galatasaray officially celebrated their record-extending 26th Süper Lig title and fourth consecutive championship in unforgettable fashion. After mathematically securing the crown on 9 May with a dramatic 4-2 comeback win over Antalyaspor, the club organised a massive city-wide celebration that brought Istanbul to a standstill and created pure football magic.
The day began with huge excitement as thousands of fans gathered in the streets of Beyoğlu, the historic heartland of the club. At around 4 PM, the iconic open-top championship bus carrying the players, coaching staff, and their families departed from Galatasaray Lisesi and began its grand journey through the city.

The parade route was spectacular: it started from Beyoğlu, moved along Meşrutiyet Street and Tarlabaşı Avenue, passed through the vibrant Taksim Square, continued via Halaskargazi Street and Mecidiyeköy, and finally made its way along the TEM Northern Side Road toward the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex. The yellow-red bus was surrounded by a sea of fans waving flags, singing club anthems, and setting off flares and fireworks. Traffic in central Istanbul came to a complete halt as supporters lined the streets for kilometres, creating an incredible atmosphere of joy and unity.
The procession reached RAMS Park in the evening, where a huge stage had been prepared for the official trophy lifting ceremony, which kicked off at 19:05 local time. The stadium was packed with over 50,000 ecstatic fans who had been waiting for hours. As the players walked onto the pitch wearing their championship T-shirts, the entire stadium erupted in deafening chants of “Şampiyon Galatasaray!”

Club president and legendary figures addressed the crowd, expressing gratitude to the fans and players. The highlight of the night came when captain Fernando Muslera and star striker Victor Osimhen lifted the glittering Süper Lig trophy high into the air under a spectacular light show and fireworks display. The players then paraded the trophy around the pitch, taking photos with fans, dancing, and singing along with the ultras. Special moments included emotional hugs between players and their families on the pitch, and touching tributes to the coaching staff led by Okan Buruk.
The celebrations were filled with emotion — from pyro displays and massive banners taunting rivals to heartfelt messages from the players thanking the Cimbom faithful. The night perfectly captured the passion that makes Galatasaray one of Turkey’s biggest clubs.
